The lines on y:e other side are Copy of wriiten unto yo:w overland, & I hope God sending this ship well she may arrive w:th yo:w before y:e said lres, since my returne out of [blank in manuscript] Jo:n informed me y:t a gray muske is in repute, but how long it may continue soe I know not, howevr if y:t my lres over land be not come unto yo:u hands, & y:t yo:w have not yet geevern order for y:e ?prvisioan of: 300:ll in Dimonds as in y:m requested yo:w, I desire yo:w to be pleased to pvide onely 200:ll in sure Dimonds as in y:e said lre is specified & to invest y:e other 100:ll in good a gray muske, so shall see w:tch will turne y:e best unto acco:t in regards of my soe late returne from y:e Country, & y:t y:e ship is small, I send nothing by her, but shall remitt unto yo:w y:e 300:ll by y:e first shipps at spring, & by y:m shall further intimate unto yo:w by w:t shipps I shall Crave yo:w kindness to send me returnes thereof home, as also y:e Dimonds I bought of Cap:t Bowen[1], in regard y:t I doe understand y:t this shipp is ordred to pceed for y:e southward, y:e inclosed goeth Cap:t Bowens lre I remaine
