as this respondent beleevethm their shipp lying at Anchor as aforesayd
And further hee cannot answere/

To the third Interrogatorie hee saith that the persons of the Blessing who called
out to the Company of the helpewell to beare up and take heede of coming
fowle of the Blessing were John Niggs the Master and one Richard [?Bordman]
and further saving his foregoeing deposition hee cannot answere./

On the behalfe of}
William Castle.}

Rp. 1.

William Ryall of the parish of Saint Mary Maudlin
in the Burrough of Southwark mariner aged 24 yeares or
thereabouts, and John Moore of the same mariner aged
32 yeares or thereabouts sworne as in the Acts of Court, doe
severally depose and sweare/.

That upon Wednesday the 18th of July about eleaven or
twelve of the Clocke in the morning theise deponents were put into the
quiett and peaceable possession of the shipp the Greyhound by Mr
William Castle, and by him ordered to keepe the possession thereof
for his use there being at that time noebody onboard her but one
John Wyer and others who were in her for the said Mr Castle
alsoe and put onboard by him, and that theise deponents at such time as
they came onboard the said shipp came in a peaceable and quiett manner
nor without any weapons, neither did they use any force or violence
at all and they doe further declare, that they did continue in the said
possession of the said shipp by the space of about 8 or 9 dayes videlicet from
the 18th untill the 26th of July instant about 10 of the clock at night
about which time one John Case and about 10 or 12 more with him
with theire Swords Cutlaces and pistolls came onboard the said
shipp. and came to these deponents; and the said Case with
his sword drawne and his pistoll in his hand came to
theise deponents and forced them out of the said shipp the
Greyhound that hee would speede them or to that effect and
thereupon the said Case and those that were with
him did put theise deponents by force and
violence out of the said shipp the Greyhound./
