Examined upon an Allegation on the behalfe
of the said Michael Perry Severino.

Diego Maistre of Sevil in Spayne merchant
aged twenty four yeares or thereabouts a
witnesse sworne and examined deposeth
and saith as followeth videlicet

To the fourth he saith that Nicholas de Groote arlate is commonly reputed to be a
merchant of Antwerpe and is a correspondent of the producent. And saith
that the producent told this deponent att Cadiz that having not then any
resolution of goeing speedily to Ostend he had caused the sayd Peru
moneyes to be consigned to the said Nicholas de Groot for the accompt
of him the sayd producent. And otherwise he cannot depose, saving that
the sayde de Groot is accounted to be a subiect of the King of Spayne
