others hee left in the hands of the said Peter Jansen the Younge at
Cadiz. And otherwise cannot depose./
To the 22nd hee saith, hee very well knoweth that the bills of lading
interrate and now showed onto him are really two of the bills of lading
signed by him at Cadiz as aforesaid, which hee well knoweth by his owne
usuall [fierne?]; haveing since that time signed no other bills to that effect /.
And otherwise cannot depose /.
To the 23th, hee cannot depose /.
To the 24th, hee saith, he doeth not exactly remember whether the silver
interrate were laden within or without the [Command?] of the Spanish
fforte or Castles, nor doese hee know of any passeport or License for the
same. And otherwise hee cannot depose /.
To the 25th, hee saith, that saving his foregoing deponent, to which hee
referreth himselffe hee cannot further depose /.
To the 26th hee saith, hee remembereth not whether the bills of lading [rede?]
to this deponent were loose or enclosed in [?] at Dover. And otherwise
saving his foregoing deponent hee cannot depose /.
To the 27th, hee saith the bills of lading were brought in the said shipp
and were together with other bills of lading in this deponent these at
the time of seizure. And otherwise cannot depose /.
To the 28th, hee saith hee was [?] and aboard the shipp Morning Starr
at the time of the [Share?] and fight interrate which was about 2
or three leagues from the Coast of England, where hee was [halted?] by
the friggot interrate, and after submitted the shipps of this
[Commonwealth?]. And otherwise cannot depose /.
To the 29th, hee saith, hee this deponent, had a [Chost?] on board at the time
of the seizure interrate, but did not [?] the said seizure take any
moneyes plate jewells [papers?] or any thing else out of the same. And
otherwise cannot depose /.
To the interrogaties in the second place /.
To which hee saith hee referreth to his former examination in the Claymed
of George [Hoschaert?]
