Thomas Death, a sixty-one year old London goldsmith, deposed on February 10th 1655 in the High Court of Admiralty. He deposed in the case "On the behalfe of the Christofer Willoughbie Edward Bushell and others assurers touching the shipp the Sampson.[1]
