arlate this respondent did hire and afree<br />
with the arlate Bradley and Mugford and<br />
the rest of the parties arlate to goe and serve<br />
in the shippe the ''Roebucke'' the voyage arlate<br />
and this respondent beleeveth that hee did<br />
promise to pay them the respective monthly<br />
wages mentioned in the schedule annexed<br />
to this rendents answers and noe more<br />
as hee beleeveth for theire respective services<br />
in the said shippe And otherwise for his parte<br />

beleeveth that upon the seaventh of ffebruary<br />
1647 arlate the arlate Bradley and Mug=<br />
ford and the rest of the parties schedlate<br />
entred into whole pay and then the said<br />
shipp set saile from Gravesend for Lisborne<br />
and there safely arrived and from thence<br />
went to the Westerne Islands to seeke a<br />
freight with onely some small presents sent<br />
thither to freinds and about 50 passingers<br />
and there arrived and there had procured<br />
a ladeing of Corne to be brought to Lisborne<br />
againe but as this respondent and<br />
Company were in taking in the said<br />
