producent aged 22 yeares or thereabouts sworne and examined
To the first article of the said allegation hee saith and deposeth that the<br />
producent George Boscaert for all the time arlate hath and doth<br />
drive a constant trade from Antwerp to Cadiz and Saint Lucar for silver<br />
and plate, and for all that time had ad hath factors and correspondents<br />
at Saint Lucars and Cadiz for that end and purpose, and for a marchant<br />
usinge that trade hee the said producent was and is commonly accompted<br />
and reputed, which hee knoweth being his cashier and servant and living<br />
in house with him and having soe donne for severall yeares last past,<br />
And otherwise hee cannot depose.
To the second article hee saith and deposeth that the said producent George<br />
Biscaert within the said time by his factors and agents at Cadiz in Spaine<br />
laded and caused to be laded aboard the shipp the ''Sampson'' (Otto George)<br />
the shipp the ''Salvador'' (Christian Cloppenburgh master) and the shipp the<br />
''Saint George'' (John Martenson dorp master) then lying at or neare<br />
Cadiz and bound for Ostend arlate the severall abd respective quantities<br />
of money plate and silver hereafter mentioned, videlicet aboard the<br />
said shipp the ''Sampson'' three barrs of silver weighing 371 markes and

foure ounces of the first marke in the margent, two baggs

marked with the second marke in the margin, conteayning in the whole one<br />
thousand peaces of eight namely five hundred in each bagg, and one<br />
barr of silver weighing 123 markes and three ounces, and six small<br />
packetts and eleaven peaces of silver in the same weighing 111<br />
markes and 7 ounces, being together two hundred thirtie and five markes<br />
and 2 ounces, marked with the third marke in the margin, and fifteene

barrs of silver weighing together 417 markes and two ounces marked
[FOURTH MARKE, LH MARGIN]
with the fourth marke in the margent, and twoi barrs of silver
