came to the Barbadoes and alsoe at<br />
what time the said Parris and hohne<br />
wood did desert the said shipp these<br />
Rendents knowe not nor knowe what to<br />
beleeve concerneing the same in re=<br />
gard they have heard noethinge of the<br />
said time And otherwise for theire parts<br />
they nor any of them doe not beleeve<br />
the said position to bee true in any parte<br />
thereof./
To the 5th pretensed position they and every<br />
of them answer that for theire parts they<br />
doe not beleeve the said position to be<br />
true in any parte thereof Saveing these<br />
Rendents beleeve that they these Rendents<br />
or some or one of them have or hath a booke of<br />
Accounts wherein it is entred downe<br />
what sugars or other goods divers of the<br />
marriners of the said shipp did receave<br />
att Barbadoes for theire wages then and<br />

To the sixth pretensed position they and every<br />

shipp the ''Royall merchant'' arlate was<br />
whilest shee was att the Barbadoes<br />
discharged of such negroes as shee<br />
brought thither and alsoe of some<br />
small quantity of her outward ladeing<br />
carried outwards in the said voyadge<br />
