To the fourth hee saith that the said vessell the Abigail when shee came
from Newcastle and to the time of the said disaster was strong and stanch
and very well furnished and fitted with all materialls and necessaries, as cables
Anchors, sailes, masts, ropes and rigging of all sorts necessary for such a
shipp, and that diverse of her sailes and cables were newe and that shee was at the time
of her sinking of the burthen of about three hundred tonns, and had [?XXX]
greate guns, and other artillery befitting such a shipp, and the said shipp
with her guns, tacke and furniture, materialls and provisions were
immediately before the said disaster worth in his estimation about the summe of
one thousand pounds sterling, besides her said thirteene score chaldron of
coales which were then worth three hundred pounds sterling
or thereabouts in his judgement.
