The same day. [CENTRE HEADING]

Jacob Ald[etsen] of Amsterdam Mariner , aged 24 yeares or
thereabouts sworne and examined as aforesaid.
To the said Interrogatories hee saith and deposeth that hee well knoweth
the shipp the Liesday and hath soe donne for thesise twelve monethes last or
thereabouts, and saith that in our about March ot Aprill last hee this
deponent being at the Barbadas (where the shipp the king david of
Amsterdam whereof hee was Stiersman was a little before seized) sawe
the said shipp the Liesday brought into the Roade as prize by the
English, laden with wine and brandewine, part whereof this deponent
sawe brought ashore, the said shipp and lading being
confiscated and disposed of by the English, and after her company were
turned ashore, this deponent there sawe and spoke with her master and
sawe his precontest John Cornelison alsoe there ashore as one of the
companie turned out of her. And saith the said shipp belongeth
to the port of horne, and that one ffrederick Otsen and other
Hollanders were and are her owners and for such commonly accompted,
and subiects of the States if the United Netherlands. And otherwise
hee cannot depose.

Peter Johnson of harlem Mariner, aged 28 yeares or
thereabouts sworne and examined.
To the said Interrogatories hee saith and deposeth that about a moneth
before Easter last this deponent being at the Barbadas's (where hee
was taken in the shipp the Swann of Memblick whereof hee was
Cooper about 6 weekes before) sawe the said shipp the Liesday
brought into the Roade by the English as prize , and sawe her
company ashore, being turned out of the said shipp
Liesday which with her lading of wine and brandewine were
by the English confiscate and disposed of, and in particular hee
sawe and there spoke with his precontest John Cornelison after
his turning ashore, and understood by him that shee came from
Nantes with the said wine and brandewine, and this deponent sawe
the seizure of her as shee was under saile about
three dutch miles off at sea. And otherwise hee cannot depose.
