Transcription

To the 9th Interrogatorie hee saith that since hee with the
rest of the said Armenians were soe turned out of the
said ship the Saint Martyn neither hee nor they ever sawe either
the said Audric or ány of the Company belonging to the
said ship. And hee knoweth because hee hath bin
ever since in theire Companies And further hee answereth
negatively saveing his foregoeing deposition to which hee
referreth himselfe.

To the last Interrogatorie hee saith that the said producent hath
bin at Leghorne since his said turneing ashore neare
Trapany. And saith hee went thither in a Gally from
Palermo together with this deponent and three more the rest of the
said Armenians went in a vessell of Trapany to Ligorne
where they all went together and from thense this deponent the producent
and six more sailed to Marseillia and from thense they
came to Callice by Land and from Callice they came to dover
And further hee cannot depose.

Examined upon the same allegation and schedule [XXXXX GUTTER]

Hojar Saracan of Constantinople in
the Dominions of the Turkish Emperor Merchant
aged 36 yeares or thereabouts sworne and
Examined.

To the first and second articles of the said Allegation and to the schedule
thereunto annexed hee saith and deposeth That hee this deponent
well knoweth the producent Hojar Petro who within and
for all the tyme arlate was and still is and ought to be
the true and Lawfull Owner and Proprietor of all and singular
the goods wares and Merchandizes mentioned and Expressed
in the said schedule annexed and now shewed unto him
And for such was and is comonly accompted reputed and
taken All which said goods schedulated this deponent saith
by the said producent about 6 moneths since were Laden
and put abord the shippe the Saint Martin arlate
at Smirna to bee transported therein from thense to Ligorne where
the same were to have bin delivered for his owne proper
use and accompt. And saith that the said schedule
to the said allegation annexed was and is the originall bill of
ladeing
