Upon the first allegation given in this Cause

henry Turner of London Merchant aged 36 yeares
or thereabouts a wittnes sworne and Examined deposeth as
followeth videlicet./

To the [?2]4th article of the said Allegation hee saith and deposeth
that hee hath well knowne the handwriting of his contest Peter
Stoner for the space of these ten yeares last past And hath of late perused
his the said Stoners books of Accomp[?s] and Journalls, And therein doth
find that in the yeare 1645 there was laden aboard Thomas Middletons
shipp (as hee was Master thereof) for the Accompt of the arlate Mr Thomas
Batt one hundred and fifty Eight [?modinas] of salt
nine hundred twenty three oxe hydes
and 12[?000] Ryalls double plate And this hee deposeth for that hee hath bin very
conversant with the said Peter Stoner , and well knoweth his handwriteinge
and hath perused the bookes as aforesaid, And further hee saith hee cannot depose

To the rest hee is not Examined by the direction of the producent./-

To the Interrogatories [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first. 2. 3. 4. 5. and 6th Interrogatories hee saith hee cannot ans[?weare GUTTER]
or depose.

To the 7th hee saith that hee is not indebted to the interrogated mary Batt
And further hee cannot depose or answeare./

To the 8. and 9th articles hee saith hee cannot answeare.

To the 10th hee referreth himself to his deposition made to the 14th article of
the said allegation, And further hee saith hee cannot depose./

To the 11th hee saith hee knoweth not nor can answeare thereunto [?saveing GUTTER]
his foregoeing depositions to which hee referreth himself And further hee cannot
answare or depose./

said Stephens Examined

Thomas Dunaway of Newport in the Isle of Wight
Yeoman aged 37 yeares or thereabouts a wittnes sworne and [?examined GUTTER]
deposeth as followeth./

To the first article of the said allegation hee saith and deposeth That the
Shipp the Constant arlate was built at kiningsbarricke belonging to the
Duke of Brandenburgh about fourteene yeares since, And hee saith that [?att ?the GUTTER]
time of the building thereof and for many yeares after shee was called and [?knowne GUTTER]
by the name of the ffrederick and william in honor of the said duke whose [?name GUTTER]
hee gave the said shipp and att that time the arlate Allan Ruddocke was [?master GUTTER]
thereof and so contynued for divers yeares after which hee knoweth for that hee went Master thereof [?from GUTTER]
Quinninsburgh to this Port of London and this deponent came in the said shipp with
him And hee saith that the said Ruddocke did cause the said Shipp to bee built
him self and the arlate John d[XX]way William Buck[?e] and John [XXX GUTTER]
John davison and others Subiects to the king of Poland, And further saith that [XXX GUTTER]
the time of the building thereof the arlate John ffletcher had not any
right interest or pretence unto the said shipp or any part thereof which hee deposeth
for that hee was well acquainted with the building of the said shipp and very [XXX GUTTER]
her builders and part Owners thereof as aforesaid And further cannot depose
[XXXX GUTTER]
