Transcription
her and from thence proceeded in her for Barnstable but
in the said ships course thither shee was againe mett withall
by Captaine Greene who tooke the said ship and ladeing and brought
her (sic) into Portsmouth where the same now remayneth which hee knoweth
to bee true hee this deponent being then aboard the said ship and being allsoe
carryed in with her to Portsmouth And further hee cannot depose
seeing that at the said tyme of the said seizure of the said
shipp all and singular the goods wares merchandizes, Clothes
Bedding and Utensills mentioned and Expressed in the first and second
schedules to the allegation annexed were on bord her.
To the 6th article hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing
deposition And otherwise hee cannot depose.
To the 7th article hee saith and deposeth That the said John Peters[on]
Gilleson and Company owners of the said ship were and are
dutchmen borne and Inhabitants in and about Amsterdam
and soe is and are this deponent and Company. And saith
that at the tyme of the seizure of the said ship by comon and
generall report there was and still is peace and Amitye
betwixt the states of the United Netherland Provinces and the
Commonwealth of England and the subiects of Each state and
Commonwealth. And further hee cannot depose.
To the last hee saith that what hee hath predeposed is true/

alike as hee hath done uno them in his Examina=

the Claymers of the goods in the said shipp
to which hee referreth himselfe.

in or about the beginning of the moneth of July last past and
presently after such tyme as the producents Walter Tucker
