transportation thereof, And this rendent
further beleeveth that hee this Rendent
did set saile with his said shippe from
Marranewan aforesaid with the said
goods and passingers in her towards Perrawe
and there arrived with the same on or
about the 16th of July 1649 arlate
And otherwise for his parte hee doeth not
beleeve the said position to bee true in
any parte thereof/

To the ninth pretensed position hee answereth
and beleeveth that after such time as the
said shipp the Roebuck had receaved
on board her the foresaid goods and soul=
diers shee departed to Perrawe and there
arribed and after her arrivall there
there was delivered out of her the freight
Souldiers and plancks for which noe
feight was receaved as aforesaid and
alsoe this Rendent beleeveth that the
said shipp not being full there were
Trucked and bartered away for sugars
and Tobaccoes some small quantities of
which were carried from Lisborne
thither but the severall quantities or
qualityes this Rendent knoweth not
in Regard all his papers were lost
in his home returne when the said shipp
and her ladeing were lost, And this
Rendent further beleeveth that with the
proceede of the said goods soe trucked
awy as aforesaid there were there
taken onboard the said shipp the number
of about 700 Rolles of Tobaccoe and
