Accompt of this rendent to this rendents
great losse, and dammage, and otherwise this
rendent doth not beleeve the said pretensed
position to bee true in any parte/
To the 8th pretensed position this rendent answereth
that he accepteth the contents in this article so
far forth as they make for him, and otherwise
he doth not beleeve the said pretensed position
to bee true in any parte, saveing this rendent
beleeveth that before the saies limited by
the Charterparty aforesaid were expired the said
fflawes contrary to his Charterparty came away
with the said shipp the Unity from the
Canaries, and left this rendents goods
behind him, and only brought home for
the account of this rendent 52 pipes of
Canary wines, and no more, which were not
delivered in good order, and well condisitoned
as they ought to have been, and this rendent
beleeveth that the said fflawes did keepe
and detaine this rendents Goods so long
aboard the said shipp, after she came
into the River of Thames that the
same were much damnified and
deteriorated thereby, and the said wines
were not delivered in the river
of Thames untill the 17th day of January
last past, and otherwise he doth not
beleeve the said pretensed position to bee
true in any parte./
To the 9th pretensed position he answereth, that
he doth not beleeve the said pretensed
position to bee true in any parte thereof
Saveing this rendent beleeveth that the
time arlate, the arlate shipp the
Unity was of the burthen of 170 tonns
and noe more./
