and beleeveth the same to bee true

beleeveth the thinges by him beleeved
and denieth the thinges by him
denied./

horth made to the positions of
an Allegation given in against
him on the behalfe of Richard
Jefferson and John Stubbs doe
followe./.

To the first position hee an
swereth and beleeveth that within the
time arlate hee this Rendent did freight
the shippe the Giles for a voyadge from
hence to Greeneland and that the said shipp
did goe and was imployed in the said
voyadge for Account of this Rendent and
further this Rendent referreth himselfe
to the schedule or agreement hereunto
annexed being a true copie of the agree
ment made betwixt the said William Bel=
lamy the Captaine of the said shippe for
the said voyadge and this Rendent
which this Rendent beleeveth to bee true
And otherwise for his parte hee doeth not
beleeve the said position to bee true in
any parte thereof./

To the second pretensed position hee answe=
reth and beleeveth that the arlate Bellamy
being by his Contract and agreement to
