suite excepteinge to Richard Bayly the
respective wages for 15 monthes and
noe longer as they beleeve accordinge
to the rates arlate And soe much they
have confessed And otherwise they mor
either of them beleeve the said pretensed
position to bee true in any parte/
To the 5th pretensed position these Rendents
answer and each of them answereth
and beleeveth That about six of the
Clocke att night before the said shippe
the Ulisses was lost and cast away the
said Wilson Commanded his mate and
those that had the Command of the
Watch to cause the said shipp the
Ulisses to bee steered East and by North
and that course the said shipp was
by his order steered untill Two in the
morneing as they beleeve and then the
said Wilson comeing out of his Cabbin
Commanded the said shipp to bee steered
East which was done accordingly and
in that course about an hower after
or a little more shee was runne ashore
and cast away And otherwise they nor
either of them beleeve the said pretensed
position to bee true in any parte
To the sixth pretensed position they answer
and beleeve that the said shippe the Ulisses
was runne ashoare and cast away att
the Isle of Wight And otherwise they
nor either of them beleeve the said pretensed
position to bee true in any parte
To the 7th pretensed position they answer and each
of them answereth That they doe not ne
leeve the said pretensed position to bee
true in any parte/
