Scotland and for his use as hee belee
veth And soe much this rendent belee
veth was in and about Bergen in
Norway publickly reported and taken
notice of And otherwise for his parte hee
doeth not beleeve the said position to
bee true in any parte thereof saveing
this respondent beleeveth there is
peace and Amity betwixt this Com:
mon wealth of England and the duke
of holsten
To the second pretended position and
schedule therein mentioned hee an
swereth and beleeveth that the time

Bergen arlate and this rendent
did there understand both by the said
Hoyer and others of the said ships

were about sixe leagues at sea and steeringe
in a course for Scotland did surprize and
take the said shipp the Arke of Noah and the
horses in her by vertue of his Comission
