Thirty-six year old Edward Peirces deposed on January 16th 1654 on a libel on behalf of the plaintiffs Thomas Hodges Thomas Briggs and Company in the case of "Thomas Hodges Thomas Briggs and Company late owners of the shipp named the Mary and John (whereof ffrancis Hardridge was master) against John Osbosin and others".
