  • Insert immediately after the sentence or phrase you wish to annotate the following macro:<ref>This is the footnote text</ref>
  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

To the first pretensed position and schedule
therein mentioned hee answereth and
beleeveth the same to bee true/

To the second pretensed position heee answe
reth and accepteth the Contents in that
position soe farre as they make for him
and beleeveth the same to bee true/

To the third hee answereth and beleeveth
the same to bee true/

To the 4th pretensed position hee answereth
and beleeveth that aafter teh death of the
arlate Robert Page and after the arlate
shippe the Jonathan and Abigall had
taken in all her ladeing and was
ready to set saile from the Barbadoes
towards London and not before this re
spondent was put in and constituted
by the factors of the freighters to bee Master
of her and tooke upon him the care charge
and government of the said shippe to saile
or bringe her home for England and not
other wise and for the rest of the said position
hee referreth himselfe to the REcords
of this Court which hee beleeveth to bee
true And otherwise hee doeth not beleeve
the said pretensed position to bee true in
andy parte thereof
