Thomas Bryan of the parish of Saint Buttolph Algate
Cittizen and Cooper of London aged 25 yeares or thereabouts
a wittnes sworne and examined saith and deposeth as followeth
videlicet./

To the first article of the sayd allegation hee saith that hee this deponent
was Cooper of the Charles of London a shipp who roade in Yorke River
in Virginia neere to the arlate shipp the hopefull Adventure, and thereby
being in a boate neare her the Adventure well observed rgar ger Company
upon the Thursday which was the day next before the leake in this allegation
specified sprang or at least was discovered to be sprung, did worke at
her pumpe, and pumped her drye at two spells that is
about halfe an howers
tyme, three men plying the pumpe togeather And further to this article
hee cannot depose./
