To the first hee cannot answer saving as aforesaid:/.
To the second hee saith that at Plimouth there was delivered<br />
out of the said ship to the said Loijs Taylor about 3258 lb weight<br />
but in a bad Condition, some of it being wet, and<br />
quite spoiled, and saith that there was about 600 lb weight of<br />
the said 3258 lb weight almost quite spoiled and sold for a very small matter<br />

To the 3d hee cannot depose thereto not being in the said ship the<br />
said Voyage, nor seeing how the said Tobaccoes were stowed:/.
To the 4th hee saith that all the said Tobaccoes brought home in<br />
the said ship for the said Loijs Taylor were not delivered,<br />
unto her, nor her husband, nor to any for them, and<br />
further hee cannot answer./:

To the 13th of the said Allegation (upon which alone hee is Examined by<br />
direction) hee saith hee hath well knowne and bin acquainted with the arlate John Welde<br />
for theise three and twenty yeeres last, and knew the arlate Benjiamin<br />
Mew firste about Tene yeeres agoe, and saith that in or<br />
about the yeere 1648: the said Benjiamin Mewe was really and<br />
truely putt, and bound an Apprentice to the said John Welde, at<br />
Cookes hall London, This Deponent being at the same time of such<br />
his binding, sitting in the Court, held in the said hall by the Cookes<br />
Company, and seeing his said binding. And saith that for and<br />
during all the yeere 1654: and for a good part of the yeere 1655. the<br />
said Mewe Continued and was an Apprentice to the said Weld<br />
