Michelson and company aforesaid sent an hundred and sixtie hogsheads<br />
of tobaccoe to Amsterdam from Virginia by this deponent who went<br />
passenger therewith in the a shipp called the ''Angall'' of Yahall,<br />
and had the disposall of it for<br />
their account. And this deponent ariving in the beginning of<br />
July last with the said tobaccoe at Amsterdam, and not finding a good<br />
marke presently, but having a speedie occasion to come for England,<br />
hee left the said Tobaccoes with Abraham Janss of Gracht in Holland<br />
with order for him to sell the same and buy a shipp therewith for<br />
the said kendall and company, and shortly after this deponents<br />
comming over, hee received lettres from the said Janss purporting<br />
that hee had bought a shipp with the proceeds of the said<br />
tobaccoe, for the said kendall and company which hee wrote was formerly called the ''Shepard'' but nowe the ''Northampton'' and sent this<br />
deponent the bill of sale of and for the same, which this deponent hath<br />
nowe in his custodie, and is shortly to goe to Amsterdam to<br />
take possessipn of the said vessell for the foresaid account,

about 34 yeares, a wittnes produced, sworne<br />
and exámined deposeth as followeth Videlicet./
To the first article of the sayd alleagation he deposeth<br />
and saith that he very well knoweth the arlate shipp the<br />
''Sixe brothers'' he the deponent having gone Bozen in her<br />
two voyages and Masters=Mate two other voyages, whereof<br />
the voyage allegate was the last and that thereby<br />
or by reason therof he the deponent well knoweth that<br />
the arlate William Greene the producent did goe Master and<br />
Commander of the sayd shipp in all the sayd voyags (sic) and<br />
especially in her last voyage videlicet in the months of January<br />
ffebruray and march 1656 and alsoe in the monthes of<br />
March, Aprill, May, June July and August 1657, The<br />
premises he deposeth for the reason aforesayd And<br />
further he cannot depose.
To the second and third articles of the sayd allegation he<br />
deposeth and saith that the sayd shipp the ''Sixe Brothers'' being<br />
at Porto Port in Portugall about Aprill last past did<br />
