Transcription To the 21 hee saith that hee knoweth not oTo the 21 hee saith that hee knoweth not otherwise that the said Peter [?Elers]<br /> is an owner but by his supplying of the ''Sampson'' aforesaid with<br /> necessaries for his shipp, and never sent him the said master make any accompt<br /> to the said Peter as owner. To the 22 hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition and cannot<br /> otherwise answer. To the 23 hee saith that hee is not a married man but a seafaring person<br /> for wages, and therefore hath noe constant dwelling, hiring himselfe from one<br /> port to another as hee findes conveniencie for wages for his subsistence, and<br /> that hee hath bin here in London about 12 weekes last and lodgeth nowe<br /> at Mr Swanes at Saint Catherins./:- To the 24 hee saith that hee went from Amsterdam to Cadiz in the said shipp<br /> the ''Sampson'' about foure yeares since, at which times the warrs betwixt<br /> Spaine and holland were surceased; And otherwise negatively saving as<br /> aforesaid.
