Transcription than the bills of lading by him formarly dthan the bills of lading by him formarly deposed, nor that they or any of them took<br /> or made any private note or memorandis[?] for delivery of the same to any other<br /> [?] that saith as in the sayd bills are named, or that the sayd moneys did belong<br /> to the accompt of any other person. And further he cannot depose. To the tenth he saith he doth not know or is convinced that the sayd moneys or any<br /> part thereof did or doth belong to and hollander or subject of the ffactoers[?] of<br /> the united Provinces of King of ffrance interate whatsoever. And further <br /> saith that the sayd shipps were both of them bound for Ostend and not for<br /> Holland or any port in Holland the united Provinces under the states generall<br /> or any port of the King of ffrance. nor was the sayd moneys or any [?]<br /> thereof, or the proceed thereof or any of thereof to have bene so into any port<br /> under jurisdiction of the foresayd states or King of ffrance for the Accompt of any of <br /> their subjects nor to be disputed[?] by their order that this deponent haht heard<br /> or beleiveth. And further he cannot depose. To the eleventh he saith that ffrancis[?] du Beys laded the sayd moneys himself<br /> and otherwise negatively. And further he cannot depose. To the twelth he saith that the said Du Boys did acquaint this deponent at Cadiz <br /> that the sayd moneys now claymed were laden for and att the Account and <br /> Adventure of him the sayd ffrancs du Boys. and otherwise he cannot depose To the thirteenth he saith that he was borne att noar[?] in Lakeland but resides<br /> for the most part att St Lucar in Spaine, and sayth he hath noe propty or<br /> interest by way of ensureance[?] in the sylver now claymed nor any part thereof,<br /> neither doth he [?], or shall have any benefit by the [?] thereof.<br /> And further he cannot depose. To the fourteenth, fifteenth sixteenth and seventeenth Interries <br /> he saith he cannot depose. To the eighteenth he saith that after the sayd Bills of lading were signed at<br /> aforesayd the sayd pursor of the shipp ''Sampson'' delivered two of the<br /> bills signed by him for the said money aboard the ''Sampson'' to the sayd ffrancis <br /> du Boys, and kept one of them for the sayd master of the ''Sampson'' otto george<br /> And the sayd Christian Cloppenbergh likewise of the three bills he signed <br /> for the sayd moneys laden aboard the ''Salvador'' delivered two of them to the sayd<br /> ffrancis du Boys, and reteryned one of them in his owne [?] And<br /> further saving his foregoing depositions he cannot depose. /ti the nineteenth he saith that the bills of lading annexed to the allegation<br /> and now showne him are two of the Bills he saw signed in Cadize as <br /> aforesayd, which by the markes in the margents, and firme of the sayd<br /> bills respectively he is well [?] of And otherwise he cannot depose. To the twentyeth he saith that all the papers aboard the shipps ''Sampson'' and <br /> ''Salvador'' were delived to the Takers of the sayd shippe. But by what<br /> meanes the bills annexed and now showne him came to this citty and into<br /> the Registry of this court he knoweth not, and otherwise he cannot depose. <br /> Saving as he believeth the Takers of the sayd shipp sent the sayd bills<br /> into this Court. To the one and twentyeth he saith that the Interrate ffrancis du Bois came from <br /> Cadize to Hamburgh in another shipp whose masters [?] [?]<br /> and otherwise negatively. And further he cannot depose. To the two and twenteys he saith that the sayd money now claymed was all of it<br /> Laden and on Comand of the pporte of Cadiz; and there was noe [?]<br /> or [?] for the same that this deponent knoweth of And otherwise he<br /> cannot depose. To the three and twentyth he saith he soes not know of any sylver or goods<br /> whatsoever delivered out of the sayd shipp after the lading of the money<br /> now claymed, and further referring himself to his former depositions<br /> he cannot depose. To the four and twentyeth he saith that ffrancis du boys receyved two bills <br /> of lading of cone [?] from this pursor of the ''Sampson''. and two of one<br /> cenor[?] from Christian Cloppenburgh.
