To the fifth he answereth and deposeth tha … To the fifth he answereth and deposeth that there were <br />
4 Englishe shipps att Talloone at the tyme inter of and of with <br />
the aforesaid Mr Cooke was master but he [?]<br />
of the [?] had knoweth not, but hath heard that [?]<br />
all round [?]. And saith that hee did not att [?]<br />
tyme while hee was at Talloone [?] the said Mr <br />
Ellison speak to any of the Englishe merchants aforesaid not to <br />
take in any of the said Ellisons companie as is inter. And<br />
further hee cannot depose.<br />
To the 6th hee answereth and deposeth that hee <br />
doeth verily believe and in his [?] is persuaded that <br />
[?] wages and [?] them money att Talloone to <br />
have brought them home, they would not [?] spoke<br />
or given out any ill report of him either att Talloone or <br />
else where. And futher hee cannot depose.<br />
To the 7th hee saith hee hath known the inter Captaine<br />
Ellison ever since hee was a child and did [?] to the said<br />
[?] with him and hath often bin in his compainis but <br />
not whilst hee was at Talloone, where hee saith <br />
hee never had any [?] with him. And further hee cannot <br />
depose.<br />
To the 8th hee cannot depose.<br />
To the 9th hee cannot otherwise then as aforesaid answer nor<br />
depose. <br />
To the 10th hee cannot answere or depose then as <br />
aforesaid saveing that hee saith there was one of the<br />
[?] compainie which was onboard the [?]<br />
att Talloone [?] might have [?] for <br />
England [?] here again [?] and <br />
[?] into the [?] of the [?] hee being <br />
as hee saith one of Captaine Ellisons servants.<br />
To the 11th hee cannot depose.<br />
To the 12th hee saith that hee heard some of the <br />
[?] companie report att Talloone that [?]<br />
of them were during the said fight got into <br />
[?]. And further hee <br />
cannot answere.<br />
To the 13th hee saith hee heard some of the companie<br />
of the ship the [?] say that Captaine Ellison [?]<br />
toward into the hould of the said ship [?] the said <br />
voyage to Cooke his [?] with [?]<br />
[?] report otherwise [?] as aforesaid <br />
[?] there being as hee saith various reports among <br />
the said ship companie of that [?] of the said Ellison. companie of that [?] of the said Ellison. +
