Transcription Ad 11um deponit That head not the saidd shAd 11um deponit That head not the saidd ship bin seized shee would<br /> [?doubtedly] have come directly to Legorne and delivered the said goods there<br /> to the said partyes or their assignes et alr nescit. Ad 12um deponit pro parte sua nescit./. Ad 13um deponit That hee hath heard that the Master and Company of the said<br /> ship (who questionales are necessary witnesses herein) were clapt up in<br /> Prison as Enemyes<br /> et alr nescit/ Ad ult dicit predepoita per eum esse vera./. Ad Interria./ [CENTRE HEADING] Ad primum rendet that the said Arnold and Elias Beake did not in any of their<br /> letters of Orders about the freighting a ship for the goods in question mention the said ship ''ffortune''<br /> and saith that they sent the said letters at the time of the dates by the post to the said Samuel Beake<br /> at Bourdeaux and this deponent just before they were sent away copyed them<br /> in the Copy book of the said Mr Beake, out of which hee tooke<br /> notes (which hee hath now with him) of the tenour aforesaid, et<br /> alr salvis predepoita ad qua se refert nescit.
