that they are Damnifyed by reason of the breaking<br />
of one Cable, and the Cutting of the other as aforesaid<br />
to the summe or vallue of Six<br />
Pounds. And otherwise hee cannot depose.
To the 6.th hee saith the said ship. the ''John and''<br />
''Katherine'' at the time when the said Damage was<br />
done was a Stronge Staunch and tight ship, and her<br />
head was stronge and firme, and was of this deponents<br />
knowledge made about twelve moneths before<br />
the said Damage happened, and the same was very<br />
richly Carved Guilded and painted. which hee<br />
knoweth for the reasons aforesaid.
To the 7.th hee saith that hee well knoweth that the<br />
said John Miller was at Great Charges in [XXX GUTTER]<br />

To the first hee saith hee cometh to Testify herein<br />
at the request of the said Miller, and was masters mate of<br />
