To the second article he cannot depose saving that he this<br />

say (after the sayd shipp had taken in her lading at Porto=<br />
Port) that if he had knowne that ffisher (meaning William<br />
ffisher the party in this cause as this deponent verily beleeveth)<br />
had had any thing to doe in, or with any goods he had on<br />
board, he would not have taken them in, for that<br />
he the producent had found him the sayd ffisher very<br />
troublesome concerning some goods, that he the producent<br />
had formerly brought home, which belonged to the sayd<br />
ffisher And further he cannot depose./
To the third article he deposeth and saith that he this<br />
deponent doth not knowe nor hath heard that any goods<br />
or the goods of any man aboard the said shipp were<br />
imbezeld or damaged, or had or did receive any damage<br />
or imbezelement, but that they were all aswell the goods<br />
of the arlate ffisher as any other merchant or person<br />
were dischardged out of the sayd shipp in as good order and<br />
condition as they were received into the sayd shipp, And<br />
he further saith that of his certaine knowledge other<br />
men (to whom goods brought home the voyage allegate were<br />
consigned) have received their sayd goods with content<br />
and complaine not all at all of any damage their goods<br />
received, and that he doth not knowe nor ever heard that any<br />
man (except the sayd ffisher) hath complayned of or pretended<br />
that any damage or imbezelment came or happened unto<br />
their goods the voyage aforeasyd, And further he cannot<br />
depose./
To the fourth article he cannot depose saving that iij ''li'' x ''s'' per<br />
Tonne is (as he conceiveth) but a low rate for the<br />
freight of [?Cargoes], And further he cannot depose./
To the fifth he refereth himselfe to his former deposition<br />
