Phillips his account of the said disbursements, it appeared unto the<br />
owners at a meeting had by and amongst them thereabout, that each two<br />
and thirtieth part owners part or share of the owners did upon the said account<br />
came and amounted to - 31li -13s - 9d sterling, and after that rate this deponent<br />
and other part owners paid, and soe the said Bultele was to pay, and<br />
was present at the said making up the said account, And otherwise hee<br />
cannot depose.
To the third hee saith the said Bultele is still indebted the said summe of<br />
32li 13s 4d for setting out the said shipp as aforesaid for his said part.

London Merchant, aged 56 yeeres or thereabouts sworne and exámined.
To the first and second árticles 56 yeeres or thereabouts sworne<br />
and exámined.
To the first and second árticles of the said allegation hee saith and<br />
deposeth that hee well knoweth the arlate Roger Phillips, and the<br />
shipp the ''dover merchant'' arlate and well knew the arlate Peter<br />
Bultele and saith the said Phillips was the time arlate commander<br />
of the said shipp and the said Bultele commonly accounted a part owner of her, which hee<br />
knoweth because hee this deponent that was and still is a part owner<br />
of her and was one that put the said Phillips into the said commande<br />
and having severall times seene the said Bultele as an owner at<br />
meetings of the owners about the said shipp. And saith that in the<br />
yeere 1654 the said shipp being bound put on a voyage for the Streights<br />
the said Phillips by order of the owners laid out and disbursed much moneys<br />
for her fitting and setting out on the said voyage, and making up his<br />
account thereof, it appeared that each two and thirtieth part owner<br />
was indebted and ought to pay 31 ''li'' - 13 ''s'' - 9 ''d'' for his share of the said<br />
moneys soe laid out, and this deponent paid after that rate for his<br />
part in the said shipp, and soe did most of the rest of the owners,<br />
and that the said Bultele was present at the meeting of the owners<br />
about auditing and allowing the said account, and his part payable<br />
was after the rate aforesaid hee being a part owner of the said vessell.<br />
And hee the better knoweth the summe and each owners proportion<br />
having nowe seene the said account, and his hand thereto, And otherwise<br />
hee cannot depose saving that mr Rodberd his precontest was and<br />
is alsoe a part owner.
