hath constantly belonged and been generally reputed to belong to hamburgh<br />
and to have her Owners there dwelling and residing, excepting Vincent<br />
van Campen a hamburgher who liveth and resides at Cadiz in Spaine<br />
And further saving his former depositions taken in this Cause, and<br />
in this Court, to which hee referreth, hee saith hee cannot depose/.
To the 4th hee saith, That during the time that the said shipp the ''Saint''<br />
''George'' remained in the Bay and haven of Cadiz in the yeare 1652<br />
arlate, which was at their last being there about 4. or 5. moneths, as this<br />
deponent remembreth, the said shipp ''Saint George'' was not at any time during<br />
such her remaining there reputed or taken to belong to Amsterdam, or to<br />
have any of her Owners there dwelling or residing, or to be thither<br />
designed or bound with the ladeing which shee thena nd there [?toke]<br />
in. nor was there then and there before or since any report or rumour<br />
amongst persons of creditt or quality or others, so farr as this deponent<br />
ever heard or observed, That the said shipp and ladeing were bound<br />
or belonged to Amsterdam, The premisses hee beleeveth, for that this<br />
deponent during the time predeposed saw and observed the said shipp the<br />
''Saint George'' rideing and remaining at Cadiz as aforesaid, and was there<br />
sewerall times aboard her, and on shoare at Cadiz was in Companie with<br />
her said Master and Mariner and sewerall Merchants and others there residing<br />
amongst whom for all that time of this deponents knowledge and observation<br />
the Common and generall report was that the said shipp belonged to<br />
hamburgh, and was designed and bound for Ostend or dunquirke in<br />
fflanders And further hee Cannot depose/:-

of hamburgh, where hee hath had his fixed residence from his infancie<br />

To the 2d hee saith hee is a Mariner by profession, and hath been at<br />
Amsterdam twice within 7. yeares last, and remained there the first<br />
time about 6. or 7. moneths, as hee now remembreth, and the last time with<br />
was in the yeare 1651. and staied there then about 7. or 8. moneths as<br />
hee now remembreth, and saith hee saw the said shipp the ''Saint George'' interrate there<br />
in both these times. And further cannot depose/:-
