wooll, And that the sayd De Baud and De La fitt did<br />
their said Letters sent unto him the said Aranguren acquainte<br />
him how the prices of wooll went in ffrance, and that (as<br />
he beleiveth) every pound of the sayd wooll was then worth about<br />
20 ''s'' sterling, And further to the sayd articel he cannot<br />
depose./
To the third and fourth articles of the sayd allegation he<br />
deposeth and saith That by reason of the freindshipp and<br />
intimacy which then was and still is between him the<br />
deponent and the arlate Aranguren the producent, he<br />
the deponent had imparted unto him, and was from time<br />
to time made acquainted with the Letters, which the sayd<br />
Aranguren received from the sayd De Baud and De La<br />
ffitt concerning the said wooll, And he deposeth that the<br />
sayd Melchior de Aranguren did communicate a Letter<br />
unto him the deponent in or about March last past or<br />
the begining of Aprill, which Letter he had received<br />
from the sayd De Baud and de La ffitt, wherein and<br />
wherby they did suggest (as the best way in their<br />
iudgement) the selling of the sayd woolls and investing<br />
the proceed therof into Linnens, and they did by their<br />
said Letters advise him the producent that there was there<br />
then a holland shipp lading bound for Cadiz in<br />
Spayne and those parts, and that if he the sayd Aranguren<br />
approved thereof they thought it the best and most<br />
convenient way to shipp the said Linnens for Cadiz<br />
for his the sayd Arangurens account, And he deposeth<br />
that he the deponent was consulted in the busines<br />
by the sayd Aranguren, And that alsoe the sayd Letter<br />
and Letters (some if not all) were communicated unto his<br />
precontest Thomas Guzman (being alsoe an intimate<br />
freind of the sayd producent) aswell as unto him the<br />
deponent, And that the sayd De Aranguren did after<br />
deliberation and advise had therin conclude that the said<br />
woolls showld be sold and Linnens bought with the<br />
proceed therof, and that the said Linnens showld be shipt<br />
aboard the said holland shipp called the ''hare in the feild''<br />
to be transported to Cadiz for the account of him the<br />
said Aranguren, The premisses he deposeth for that he was<br />
advised and consulted with in the said busines by the said<br />
Aranguren the producent, and hee imparted and communicated<br />
unto him all or most of the Letters from the first to the last<br />
and that the said Aranguren told this deponent that hee<br />
would give order and directions to the said De Baud<br />
and De La ffitt his Agents or Correspondents at [?Roanne GUTTER]<br />
to the purpose predeposed, And further he cannot depose.
