To the .20th he saith he knoweth the sayd bill of lading now shewne him to be one<br />
of teh sayd originall bills of lading signed att Cadiz as aforesayd by the marke<br />
firme and contents thereof and by the handwriting of the sayd William Cornelison<br />
who filled the same upp, and otherwise cannot depose.
To the 21th he saith he cannot depose otherwise than as aforesayd.
To the 22th he saith the sayd sylver was laden in the bay of Cadiz under<br />
the Command of the fforts of Cadiz. and otherwise cannot depose.
To the 23th he saith that board the ''Sampson'' in the bay of Cadiz about the<br />
14th day of August 1652. he this Rendent saw the sayd three bills of lading<br />
signed as aforesayd,a nd the same being so signed he saw the sayd William Cornelison<br />
take two of them into his hands, and saw Peter Huckfelt aforesayd take one<br />
of them into his hands. and more particularly to this Interrogatory cannot depose<br />
saving that the sayd bills of lading were loose and without Covers.
To the 24 and 25th. he saith It is prohibited to transport sylver and moneys<br />
out of the Ports of Cadiz Saint Lucar and others Ports of Spaine without license<br />
and saith if unlicensed sylver and moneyes be seized in the Spanish ports<br />
before transportation It is confiscate to the Kings of Spaines use, but<br />
if it arrive in fflanders or elsewhere out of the Power of the Lawes of<br />
Spaine It is a free merchandize. And so much this Rendent hath<br />
observed and the same is commonly knowne and taken notice of. And<br />
otherwise cannot depose.

and examined deposeth and saith as followeth videlicet.
To the first second third fourth and fifth articles of the sayd allegation, This deponent<br />
saith that in the moneths of August September October November december<br />
January ffebruary and March 1652. the arlate Simon de ffonseca Pyna<br />
was and att this present is and ought to be the Owner and lawfull proprietor of<br />
the arlate one barr of sylver of the marke in the margent of the weight<br />
of one hundred twenty three markes 6 ounces or thereabouts, the premisses this<br />
deponent knoweth to be true for that in the sayd moneth of August 1652 he<br />
saw the sayd barr of sylver in the howse and possession of William Cornelison<br />
the producents factor and this deponents freind att Cadiz, who then and there<br />
told this deponent that the sayd barr was the producents sylver, And saith that<br />
about the 14th day of the sayd moneth of August 1652. He this deponent did<br />
