aged thirty yeares or thereabouts a witnes<br />
sworne and examined deposeth and saith as followeth<br />
videlicet.
To the first Article of the sayd Allegation he saith and deposeth that he this<br />
deponent being att Cadize arlate in the moneth of September 1652, did<br />
there see in the possession of the arlate ffrancis du Bois whom this deponent<br />
hath knowne for four yeares or thereabouts, nineteene baggs of peices<br />
of eight some whereof were Peru moneyes, and some of them Mexico<br />
and being in all five thousand Pattac[oXXes] or Ryalls of eight, more or<br />
lesse but the particular markes whereiwth the sayd baggs were marked<br />
or the number of peices in each bag conteyned, or the very certaine number<br />
of all of them in the whole he saith he cannot depse. And further saith<br />
that the sayd ffrancis du Boys being there in his owne howse att Cadize told this<br />
deponent that he intended to send the sayd baggs of Ryalls or peices of 8/8<br />
