of the foresayd servant of fferdinando Nun … of the foresayd servant of fferdinando Nunez four bills of lading<br />
for the sayd wools of that did [purport] to be signed by the hand<br />
and name of John Martins aforesayd, that is to say two of one [tends]<br />
for the sayd Lambes wooll and two of another [tend] for the sayd [washt]<br />
woolls, and saith that the two bills of lading to the allegation annexed<br />
and [now] showne to and perused by this [examinal] were and are<br />
two of the sayd bills of lading, and the contents thereof were and <br />
are true, and saith the sayd servant of the produced acquainted this<br />
deponent that he was to send two of the sayd bills of lading to Gaspar<br />
Lorenzo of Antwerp by the Landpost and beleiveth that the sayd 2 bills<br />
annexed are those that were so sent. And allso beleiveth that according to <br />
[custome] two other bills of lading of the same [tend] with the bills of <br />
lading annexed respectively were likewise signed for the sayd woolls and came <br />
along with the same in the sayd shipp. And otherwise cannot depose.
To the 4th. 5th and 6th articles of the sayd allegation he saith that after the lading of <br />
the sayd woolls the foresayd shipp sett sayle [therewith] from Cadiz of this <br />
deponents certaine knowledge, and saith It is notorious that the <br />
sayd shipp was seized upon the Coast of England by some of the <br />
shipps of this Commonwealth. and verily beleiveth that the sayd woolls<br />
were aboard att the tyme of the seizure and that the sayd shipp and sayd <br />
woolls were then bound to Ostend and to noe other Port. And further<br />
that the sayd fferdinando Nunez was and is a merchant of Sevill<br />
in Spaine and a Spaniard borne and a subiect of the King of Spaine <br />
and an Inhabitant of Sevill with his family, and so hath bene for<br />
ten yeares past and upward of this deponents knowledge being his<br />
neighbour in Sevilia, to which sayd fferdinando Nunez the sayd woolls<br />
[doe] solely [appartaine] and he alone [runns] the hazard and riske<br />
thereof, which he knoweth for the reasons aforesayd. And further<br />
saving his foregoeing depositions cannot depose.

name att present he remembereth not but knoweth that he was and is a Spaniard.
To the 4th he saith the sayd producents howse is in the Street [Clareset] in <br />
Sevill. and further saving as aforesayd he cannot depose
To the 5th he saith he was not present at the buying of the sayd woolls. and <br />
further saving as aforesayd cannot depose
To the 6. he saith he was not present att nor saw the signing of the sayd <br />
bills of lading. and further saving as aforesayd cannot depose
To the 7. he refereth to his foregoeing depositions and further<br />
cannot depose
To the 8th he saith he cannot depose.
To the 9 he saith he cannot depose otherwise then as aforesayd.
To the 10th he saith he cannot depose.
To the 11th negatively.
To the 12th he saith he cannot depose otherwise than as aforesayd.
To the 13th he saith he was a native of and is an Inhabitant of Seville<br />
