shipp to saile or bring her home for<br />
England and not otherwise, and for<br />
the rest of the said position hee ref<br />
reth himselfe to the Records of this<br />
Court which hee beleeveth to bee true<br />
And otherwise hee doeth not beleeve<br />
the said pretensed position to bee true in<br />
any parte
To the 5th pretensed position hee answereth<br />
and beleeveth that within the time arlate<br />
the arlate shipp the ''Jonathan and''<br />
''Abigall'' did departe and set saile from<br />
Carlile Bay in the Barbadoes and safely<br />
arrived in this porte of London and<br />
since the arrivall of the said shipp the<br />
''Jonathan and Abigall'' in this port of<br />
London all the goods wares and mer<br />
chandizes which were onboard her<br />
at such time as this respondent came<br />
to bee Master of her and all such as were<br />
laden aboard her att the Barbadoes<br />
the voyadge in question as hee beleeveth<br />
and especially the goods arlate were by<br />
this respondent and his Company deli<br />
vered out of the said shippe into lighters<br />
sent by the owners of the said goods or<br />
theire Assignes to receive the same and<br />
noe parte of the same were nor was<br />
detained by this respondent or any of<br />
the rest of the Company of the said<br />
shippe as hee beleeveth And other<br />
wise hee doeth not beleeve the said pretensed<br />
position to bee true in any partebr />
