Most worthy famous and vertuous Quene may yt
please your Matie the same to be advitysed that att my
arryvall to our Port Argeale I fynd cten of your people
to the number of sixetene indetted and pawned in this our
porte beinge as I preave pawned by a captayne of
your Court called Edward Glemham whoe lefte eight of
these yoor soldyers and maryners pledges for money and victaull
for the revictillinge of his shipp And your Capteyn retorning
to our port from the sea pretendnige to paye his Detts
sent his boate wth eight men more ashore wch are likewise
here stayed for the Townes better securytye he settinge
salye in a storme and as yett I preave noe meanes
whereby these your subiects are to be relyved by ye said
