Biographical synthesis
Robert Hill (b. ca. 1601; d. ?). Mariner.
One of the company of the ship the William and James, which sailed in company with the Dove and two further ships out of Winterton road towards Newcastle. That night the ships sailed over the Well.
Resident in 1655 in Upper Shadwell in the parish of Stepney.
Evidence from High Court of Admiralty
Fifty-four year old Robert Hill deposed on February 16th 1655 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on an allegation on behalf of De Haze and Stock" in the case of "De Haze and Stock against Cable".[1]
