John Clarke (alt. Clerke) (b. ca. 1618; d. ?). Citizen of London and merchant tailor.
Warehousekeeper for the Prize Commissioners in a warehouse at Ralphes Key in which Samuel Swinnock's ginger was stored.[1]
Resident in 1655 in the parish of Allhallows Barking, London.
Evidence from High Court of Admiralty
Thirty-seven year old John Clarke deposed on July 31st 1655 in the High Court of Admiralty. He was examined on an allegation on behalf of the Lord Protector in the case of "The Lord Protector against Samuell Swynock".[2]
