Transcription

John Fell against Hohn Jacobs}
Clements}

Tuesdat the thyrd day of June 1656 before
Doctor Godolphin in the chambers et cetera and in
the presence of [?Sam] Howe Notary publicke
Appeared the said Clements for the said Jacobs
and made himselfe partie for him and produced for a
surety Samuell Reynolds of the parish of Saint Dunstans
in the East London Merchant whoe submittinge himselfe
et cetera obliged himselfe et cetera for the said John Jacobs in the
summe of one hundred pounds of lawfull moeny of England
to the said John ffell to answer the action by him in this
behafle commenced and to pay what the said Jacobs shall be
condemned in, with expenses of suite in case hee shall
bee overthrowne and to bring forth the partie in judgement
whensoever his presence shalbee required And the said
John Jacobs obligeds himselfe et cetera in the same summe and to
the same effect and to save his said suretie harmeles And
unles et cetera which Caution the Judge received./.
