  • Replace 'This is the footnote text' with the footnote you wish to add, using the format: first name, surname, title, (place of publication, date of publication), page or folio number
  • Save the page

Super libello predicto Examinat.

Henricus Shippman de Ipswich in Comitatu Suffolk. Nauta, annos agens
50to et ultra testis product et Juratus dicit et deponit prout sequitur.

Ad primum et 2 arlos deponit that hee hath knowne the arlate shipp
the Comfort of Ipswich Samuel Parke now Master for the time arlate, And saith the said Parke Brady and Company are reputed owners of
the sayd shipp her tackle apparrel and furniture. And saith that in or about
the Middle of October last past the said shipps Comfort and Seaventure coming from Newcastle
with a lading of coales by stresse of weather and contrary windes put
into Grimsby Roade in Humber and there rode severall days together
in the said Roade. And for about three days next before the dammage
hereafter mentioned happened the said shipp Hopefull Seaventure Henry
Robinson master rode above halfe a mile's distance from the Comfort who
rode in a suffiecient and secure place and where shipps usually did and
doe ride at Anchor there. Et alr nescit salvis [?subsequen].
