And saith that he knoweth the firmes of Sam Beake, Bottell, and de Kater
at the foote of the attestation being the third schedule. Et alr refrendo
se ad dictas schedulas et contenta in eidem nescut deponere.

Ad 9 deponit that hee hath understood that the said shipp was in her
Course for Corke taken by a privateer by Carews Commission and brought
up as hee hath heard in to ffoy arlate.

Ad 10u deponit that hee hath understood by letters that the privateer
Company have plundred and taken away a great part of her
lading of salt Et alr nescuit.

Ad alt dicit predeoita per ea eo vera.

Ad primum refert se ad predepoita And saith hee never was on
board the said shipp nor ever sawe her since such the producents buying. Alr
nescit saving he saith that the said shipp carried from Dublin in
Ireland about two hundred barrells of pickled herrings laded by
the foresaid Allen for this deponent and Companies accounts to Bourdeaux and
the same voyage she was sold to the said producent. by the said Knight
Alr nescit salvis predepoita not being present at the lading the said salt

Ad 3 rendet that he knoweth not the parties Interrate. Alr negative pro parte [?sea]

Ad 4 rendet that hee knoweth not of any bills of lading signed for the said salt.

Super libello in hac causa ex parte dictoru Parke et Bradley et
[?Sacior] Examinatus.

Willimus Wainewright de Ipswich in Comitatu Suffolcia Nauta, annos
agens prope 50te. aut circiter testis productus. et juratus
dicit et deponit prout sequitur (videlicet).

Ad primum et secundum arlos deponit that hee well knoweth the arlate shipp
the Comfort of Ipswich and hath bin one of her Company namely Masters mate
for these two monthes last past and upwards during which time the arlate
Samuel Parke Nicholas Brady and Company are the reputed owners of the said shipp and
of her tackle apparrell and furniture and soe commonly accounted And
went in her a voyage from Ipswich to Newcastle, and from Newcastle
came to London in her with a lading of Coales. And saith that about the middle
of October last past the said shipps the Comfort and Hopefull Seadventure did
ride at Anchor severall days together in Grimsby Roade in Humber
and about three days before the dammage in question happened the
said shipps rode about a mile distance or a little lesse from each other
And saith the shipp Comfort rode at Anchor in a safe and secure
place where other shipps use to ride and did ride. Et alr nescit ad [?XXX]

Ad 3 et 4 arlos deponit that about a month since (the day of the Month hee
