Super Allone pred Examinat ex parte Bland

Edwardus Greenall parochia Sancti Plavi Southwarke Embroiderer
annos agens 58 aut eo circiter dicit et deponit prout sequitur videlicet

Ad 1us 11us et 13us arlos dra Allonis sup quibus solimado Examinatur dicit et
deponit That in or about the month of May 1662 there were by order
of Mr John Bland of London merchant taken out of the Vintners Granarye
in the Bridgehouse in Southwarke and Put onboard a Tight staunch
and close Lighter the number or quantity of One hundred and ffifty Quarters of wheate
or thereabouts ad the said wheate hee saith was then very good sweet dry and
Merchantable, and free from any damage, and might and would in this
Deponents Judgement have lasted and continued in good condition for any voyage for the space of three monthes at
the least, unlesse [?XXXX should be done thereunto afore its
coming on board the ship, The premisses hee Deposeth for that hee was
the time aforesaid keeper of the said Granery, and sawe the said wheate
measured and sawe part of teh said wheate put into the said Lighter
and afterwards sawe it all in the said Lighter and then tooke speciall [?XXX]
of the Condition of the said Wheate, in which hee had and hath good Judgement and
having bin a keeper of Graineryes above these twenty yeeres last. And
hee further saith that the said wheate when it was soe put into the said
Lighter was worth here Three pounds sixteene shillings or thereabouts per quarter
accounting Eight bushells to the Quarter, And the said wheate was soe [?XXX]
into the said Lighter to be carryed therein onboard the shipp called the Roman
ffrigott whereof one Oyles was master and some of the said shipps Company helped
to see the said Wheate put into the said Lighter and [?suddenly] [?XXX]
said wheate was put into the same they went in the said Lighter with some oof
the wheate to carrye the said wheate onboard the said whip wherein as this
Deponent heard the said wheate was to be Transported to Tangier et alr nescit deponere
