To the 18th hee saith, This deponent hath Credibly heard that the said
Samuel Mico hath on the behalfe of the said producents been sewerall
times requested and demanded to pay the fraight due for the said shipps
imployments in his service the voiage in Controversy, as also for the
proceed of the said shipps, as predeposed, but that hee hath denyed
and still doeth persist in an absolute denyall thereof. And further
cannot depose./
To the 19th hee referreth himselfe to the Acts and proceedings of this Court
To the 20th hee saith his foregoeing deposition was and is true./
To the Crosse Interrogatories:/

To the first Interrogatorie hee saith hee was Master of the shipp the Amity in this cause
controverted and saith there were laded on board the sayd shipp at Naples about 75
or 80 tonns of goods videlicet wine and Argall and one bayle of silke for the Accompt of Samuell Micho which were all
lost and taken away by the french and saith hee knoweth not what the whole losse was
which the Interrogate Mr Micho susteyned but hath
heard the sayd Micho acknowledge that hee receaved sixe thousand Livers in part of
satisfaction for his losse aforesayd and further to this Interrogatorie saving his
foregoeing depositions hee cannot depose./
To the second Interrogatorie hee being put in mynde according as the Interroga=
torie requireth doth by vertue of his oath answere negatively to every part thereof/
To the third Interrogatorie hee answereth and saith that hee was not present
when the sayd Mr Micho receaved the sixe thousand livers predeposed of and therefore
knoweth not where or in what coyne it was paid him but hath as is predeposed
heard the sayd Micho acknowledge that hee receaved 6000 Lyvers in part of
satisfaction for his losse Interrogate and beleeveth the goods lost by the sayd
Micho were worth much more then the sayd 6000 Lyvers And further hee
cannot answere/
