The 29th of March 1655. [CENTRE HEADING]

The claime of the said ffrancis [?Lopes]}
and others for goods in the Saint Mary da}
Guardalupa. Smith. Budd.}

Examined upon the foresaid allegation.

dt. 3us.

Sent Derrickson of Purmarent neere Amsterdam
Shipwright, Carpenter of the said shipp the
Saint Mary da Guardalupa, aged 60 yeares
or thereabouts sworne and examined.

To the first and second articles of the said allegation hee saith and deposeth
that there was a certaine Spaniard named or called ffrancisco (but his other
name hee knoweth not) who in or about the moneth of July last at Garachico
in the Iland of Teneriffa one of the Canarie Ilands, laded and put
on board the said shipp the Saint Mary da Guardalupa
severall chests of sugar and a parcell of hides to be
transported in her for Amsterdam and there to be delivered to him
or order, and that hee imbarques himselfe in the said vessell to goe
passenger in her to Amsterdam. And otherwise hee cannot depose

To the 6th and 7th hee saith the said ffrancisco was and is commonly
accompted a subiect of the kinge of Spaine, And
otherwise hee cannot depose.
