and alsoe saw the said Pindar to [?strive] in not suffering
the said Grant to come aboard the said shipp
And further he cannot depose/

To the fifth he deposeth that the aid shipps lading
was at the time libellate worth at London not above
fourscore pounds, and that the same time in ffrance or holland it was worth a great deale more videlicet 150 li
or thereabouts And further he cannot depose./

To the sixth he deposeth that according to the voyages this
deponent hath made, and according to what voyages the
deponent hath knowne other Masters of shipps have
made to Newcastle since the time the producent hath bin
kep out of the possession of the said shipp Dolphin as
Master of her, he the deponent beleiveth the said
Grant hath lost 200 li, which he might otherwise have
honestly earned as Master of her, And further he
cannot depose.

To the seaventh he referreth himselfe to what he hath
predeposed And further cannot depose.

To the 8th 9th and 10th articles he referreth himselfe
to the Lawes and Registry of this Court And further
cannot depose./

To the last he saith his former deposition is true./

To the Interrogatories. [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first Interrogatory he answereth that he is a Mariner, and
hath gone Master of severall small vessells for about 13
yeares last part, that he favoureth both parties alike, and
wisheth the victory to that side that hath most right therunto
And otherwise he cannot answere

To the second Interrogatory he answereth negatively.

To the third Interrogatory he answererh that there was aboard the
interrate shipp the Dolphin after such time as the sayd Grant
went out of her ashoare at Sandwich and when the sayd
Pindar came aboard her, a Masters Mate able enough to
have pilotted her into Sandwich haven, And that after
the said Pindar had brought her into the said haven he
did not desert her but hath made many voyages with her since, And further he cannot answere.

To the fourth and fidfth Interrogatories he cannot answere more then
he referreth himselfe to what he hath predeposed./

To the sixth Interrogatory he cannot answear saving that he the
Rendent being at Newcastle at the same time the producent
was there taking in the lading of Coales interrate, he this
Rendent lent him 10 li to defray the chaarges of the Lighters
that brought the said Coales aboard the said shipp, which
money he saith was of his certaine knowledge [?XX] payd by
the sayd producent./
