To the 26th Interrogatory he answereth that he saw the Consull
Mr Richard Middleton putt his hand to a wryting concerning
the sayd bargaine, And further he cannot answere./
To the 27th Interrogatory he answereth that he this Rendent had for
himselfe and whomsoever ge showld bring with him a Boyar[?dee]
or Letter of Licence from the Bashaw to traffique in the
Molea and to transport the goods, which was in the Turkish
Language and different from the writing mentioned in the
proceeding Interrogatory, which Boyardee he beleiveth he hath held in
London amongst his papers, And further he cannot answeare.
To the 28th Interrogatory he answereth that the interrate Roger Middleton
was made Vice Consull in the latter end of the yeare 1642
by his brother since deceased then Consull, And further referring
himselfe to his former deposition he cannot answeare./
To the 29th Interrogatory he answereth that he this Rendent hath
payd both money and cloth sometimes with and sometimes without
[?Toskary], but he saith that the interrate Roger Middleton
did take a Teskare for the two halfe peeces of scarlett cloth
And he answereth by vertue of his oath that he very well knoweth
that the principalls never had any satisfaction made them
for the said scarlett cloth and money, more or other
then the said 12000 weight of Currance laden in the said boate
which was taken away by the said William ffowke, And
further he cannot answeare,/
To the thirtith Interrogatory he answereth that he had a quantity
of Currance brought home in the Moria Merchant interrate
for his owne proper Account but he saith he hath noe
part, share or interest in the ioynt stock of the said shipp
which is the producents, And further he cannot answeare./
