To the last hee saith his foregoeing deposition is true./
To the Interrogatories./ [CENTRE HEADING]
To the first Interrogatorie hee saith hee is noe way of Kinne to any
of the parties producent nor any servant to any of them saving hee was imployed
by them as aforesayd about the recovery of the sayd shipp and goods and is now a
Master of a Shipp for the foresayd Arnold Beake And saith hee was at Boston
Interrogate the tyme Interrogate and sawe noates sett up there to the effect Interrogated videlicet
for sale of the wines Interrogat on the 5th day of the month of July 1654 about
three a clock in the afternoone at the Castle Taverne in Boston aforesayd
and that he was that day in the sayd Castle Taverne and attended there from about
one of the clock that day till after three in the afternoone And further saving
his foregeoing deposition hee cannot answere./

Owners of the hopewell of which George Case is Master}
against all that pretend tytle or interest in the ladeing}
lately brought home in the sayd shipp from Scanderoone}
to this Port of London touching certaine stormes which}
the sayd shipp mett with in her passage betweene}
Scanderoone and London aforesayd, Suckley}
Examined upon an allegation given
in the 25th of May 1655 on the behalfe
of Isaack Lawrence and Company/

Phillip Handcock of Wapping in the
parish of Saint Mary Matsellon alias White
chappell Mariner Masters Mate of the sayd
shipp the hopewell aged twenty five yeares
or thereabouts a wittnesse sworne and examined
saith and deposeth as followeth videlicet./
To the first article hee saith that hee this deponent was and went Masters
Mate of the shipp hopewell arlate the voyage arlate (on which voyage shee
sett out from Gravesend on or about the twentith of March last was twelve month videlicet March 1653)
and saith that at such her setting forth on the sayd voyage and during the months
of October November and december 1654 arlate and during all the tyme
the sayd shipp remayned at Scanderoone arlate the sayd shipp was of this
deponents certayne knowledge and sight (goeing in her the whole voyage) a stronge
staunche and tight shipp, and fitt and in good consition to take in and carry
Merchants goods, and soe continued to the tyme of her arrivall at London
and still is soe, the premisses hee deposeth for the reasons aforesayd And
further saveing his subsequent depositions to which hee referreth hee cannot
depose./
To the second and third articles of the sayd allegation hee saith and deposeth
that the sayd shipp hopewell did take in severall goods and merchandizes
at Scanderoone, to be transported to London, which goods of this deponents
certaine knowledge and sight (being one who helped to stowe the same) were
well and carefully stowed upon good and sufficient dennage, and
all meanes fitting used for their preservation from takeing any damage in their passage
