To the Interrogatoryes [CENTRE HEADING]

To the first Interrogatory he answereth that he commeth to testify
at the request of the producent, who told him that if he would
not come by faire meanes, she would fetch him up
by authority, And to the rest he answereth negatively./

To the second Interrogatory he answereth that he saw the interrate shipp
the Johns Adventure in this River of Thames within these
two dayes, and that he hath knowne her (as he hath predeposed)
ever since she was built, that she is of the burthen of between
eight and nine score, And otherwise referring himselfe to
his former deposition he answereth negatively.

To the third Interrogatory he answereth that he hath knowne the
interrate Thurston for about fower yeares last past and
that the interrate Thurston gave unto this Rendent order
(as he hath predeposed) to take notice of the goods and provisions
(mentioned in the first schedule Libellate) which were brought
on board the said shipp the Johns Adventure for her
voyage In the yeare 1651, and that he the sayd Thurstone
did give order to him this Rendent to fetch and bring
aboard the said shipp the goods and provisions mentioned
and expressed in the second schedule Libellate for the shipps voyage in the yeare 1652 But he
saith that he knew nothing of their prices, nor what
mony was payd, or what security was given for them
And otherwise he cannot answeare.

Andrew Beake of Rose alley without
Bishopsgate London Lookeinglassemaker and
formerly seaman aged 36 yeares or thereabouts a
witnes sworne and Examined saith and deposeth as
followeth videlicet/

To the first article of the said allegation hee saith and deposeth that
the arlate Orton is commonly accompted and reputed the principall owner of the
shipp Content arlate, which shipp and said orton this deponent hath
knowne for about a yeare last past, dureing all which tyme the arlate Orton
hath byn is (in this deponents Judgement) in the full and absolute possession
of her the said shipp Content, and is a partowner, and accompted
a quarter partowner of her, which this deponent hath bin told by ffrancis
