To the fifth negatively for his part, and otherwise hee cannot
answer.
To the 6 hee saith he hath bin paid all his wages for the said voyage
neare three monethes since, And otherwise negatively.

Examined upon the foresaid libell.

Jonathan Prickman of London Merchant aged 30 yeares or
thereabouts sworne and examined.
To the first second and third articles of the said libell hee saith and deposeth that
in or about the moneth of October 1651 hee this deponent as agent
to and of the producent david Otgar did at the Customehouse London
enter a pack of perpetuana's numbred and marked as in the margent
to be laden aboard a certaine shipp then lying in the River (whereof
Arian Gallison was master) bound for Amsterdam, and the said goods
were by this deponent entred to be laden in the name of and as being
the goods of the said producent who was then the true owner thereof,
and this deponent received of the said Mr Otgar moneys to pay the custome
of the said goods and paid the Custome therewith accordingly. And
shortly after the said entry this deponent went alonge with the said
pack to the Custome house key and there sawe the same pack into a
boate to be carried aboard the said shipp, and sawe tyhe boate goe off
therewith towards the shipp to put the same aboard her. And
otherwise hee cannot depose, saving the said pack of perpetuana's was
consigned to be delivered at Amsterdam to Mr Cave and Mr Man merchants
at Amsterdam and agents of the said Otgar, or to one of them.
To the fourth article hee saith that the said pack contained twenty
peeces of Perpetuana's and was entred and Custome paid foor that
Content, and that every peace of the said Perpetuanas was at the time
of the said entrie and sending aboard worth three pounds eighteene
sterlinge or thereabouts, which was then the price Currant here of the
like goods, which hee knoweth because hee then dealt and both before
and since hath longe dealt as a merchant in that sort of goods,
And otherwise hee cannot depose.
To the fifth and sixth hee cannot depose saving as aforesaid.
